On February 2nd, famed Pennsylvania resident Phillip (the groundhog) predicted six more weeks of winter. And yet, here we are: it’s nearly 60 degrees. He lied.

Even as someone who lives and loves to complain about the weather and has a new meteorological concern every day, I must admit I have nothing critical to add: it’s been delightful. And although it was the shortest month of the year, it was bursting at the seams with occasions to dress for. Lucky me!

Below find February’s greatest hits (if I may say so myself)–and all the details. Enjoy!

I’d just gotten off a flight from London and had a quick turnaround to get ready for dinner with Caudalie and Kelly Rutherford, so I had to keep it simple. I went with this La Collection blazerdress, which I’ve had for years in virgin wool, and is like a magical cloak to me. Kelly and I spoke about our mutual love for this brand, started by Antwerp-based Florence Cools, whom I’ve come to know and love. I slipped on a pair of Manolo Blahnik slingbacks and my beloved Hermès Kelly bag and called it a (very long) day. Dinner was at the newly-opened the Twenty Two, where I fell in love with this tapestry and the tassels on the sconces (of course).

Here I was getting ready for a few meetings, although I should know better than to wear white to coffee, given I’m annoyingly prone to spilling. I wore this delectable Róhe coat, Alaïa bag, Dear Frances boots, Frankie Shop turtleneck, and Me + Em trousers. I felt like it was missing something, so I tied this little silk scarf around my head for a bit of added texture.

I was so thrilled to go to dinner at Sessions Arts Club, a spot in Clerkenwell I’ve admired for so long, with my friend, Chloe King. That’s one of many things I love about traveling for fashion week: it feels like one big field trip and I get to catch up with friends I don’t always see in New York. And I can’t explain it, but wearing lace in London feels so right: I always like to look a bit haunted there (and everywhere, I suppose). I wore this By Malina dress (similar here), and it’s quite long so I threw on my Simone Rocha platform boots for added height and a bit of rough contrast.

Attending the Simone Rocha show has been on my vision board for–I kid you not–years. So I was (and still am!!!!) so grateful to finally get to go. I wore this Simone Rocha dress (graciously loaned to me by my friend Mandy), with my Simone boots, earrings, and egg bag. I felt like it was missing something, so I layered this Sandro silk blouse underneath, which gave the look of an understated Elizabethan ruff.

Another show I’d been dying to see in person was Harris Reed–he’s a true artist and I’m so in awe of his work both for his namesake brand and Nina Ricci. The show was at the Tate Britain, one of my favorite museums in the world and home to Ophelia and a gaggle of gorgeous pre-Raphaelites. So much hair inspo! I wore my favorite Róhe blouse, which looks amazing tied in a bow or wrapped as a scarf, with a Dagmar jacket, L’Agence skirt, Roger Vivier pumps, and Jil Sander bag.

On the last day of New York Fashion Week, I just had a few press previews and meetings. I wore my La Collection blazerdress, styled with a Sea New York lace collar (similar here), Old Celine clasp bag, and ATP Atelier boots. The lace collar is sold out, but if you love it as much as I do, Etsy has such a great selection of Edwardian lace.

On a very icy Sunday in New York, I had a few pre-London errands to run and an uptown coffee date with my friend, Olivia. I wore this Frankie Shop coat–it’s faux fur but looks and flies like the real thing–with my The Row boots, Hermès Kelly bag, and favorite The Row sweater. Hot tip: don’t wear these boots in the snow because they have zero tread and you will fall (oops).

On the first night of New York Fashion Week, I had quite a few events, including a cocktail with Prada. They so kindly loaned me this full look, including the jacket and skirt from the AW24 collection. I’ve had these Prada square-toe heels for years, and threw this vintage coat over top. The tights are old and from Urban Outfitters.

I always enjoy the Whitney Art Party, and was so happy to attend this year’s with Aesop. Khaite was so lovely to loan me this jacket and bag, which I styled with a L’Agence skirt, Intimissimi bodysuit, and Manolo Blahnik slingbacks.

Instagram (or shall I say Meta)’s fashion team hosted a little NYFW breakfast at L’Appartement 4F in Brooklyn. Perhaps I’m biased because the founder, Ashley Coiffard, is a friend, but they make the best almond croissant this side of the Atlantic. I wore a White + Warren sweater, my Nana’s locket, a vintage tassel, ATP Atelier boots, and Zara jeans I randomly found on a clearance rack for $9.

I was so excited to attend the Altuzarra FW25 show, and equally excited that it was located within a walkable distance from my apartment. There was a bit of miscommunication with my loaned look, so I scrambled to throw something together of my own. I wore a Bazilika coat, vintage head scarf, Hermès Kelly bag, Dear Frances boots, Ayllon tassel necklace, and Anine Bing trousers. Honestly, sometimes it feels best to wear one’s own clothes to a fashion show, so this worked out well.

Hermès hosts a cocktail party in New York each time they redesign their windows, and I can’t think of a better excuse to pop uptown for a night. Inspired by an Hermès Fall 2001 runway look, I wore a vintage Calvin Klein blazer, Manolo Blahnik slingbacks, and little silk scarf I got on Amazon.

Bilt Rewards is a great client of mine, and also an incredible concept if you’re unfamiliar. They hosted a dinner at WSA in New York and I was clearly feeling inspired by Stevie Nicks’s gold-dust cape. I wore a La Collection dress, By Malene Birger capelet, Liffner bag, and ATP Atelier boots. There was a snowstorm that night, so I wore my ginormous and fabulous Frankie Shop Joan coat over top.

On this day, I had a few meetings (on my way to one with the loveliest Garance Doré I was snapped by the glorious Sandra Semburg), followed by lunch at L’Abeille with Guerlain. I wore this incredible fringe jacket by By Malene Birger, those $9 Zara jeans, Manolo Blahnik slingbacks, and carried my laptop and 18 lip products in my Hermès Kelly bag.

In London, I was thrilled to see Completedworks’ AW25 show–I am such a fan of the brand and their beautiful objects–with a surprise appearance by Debi Mazar. Afterward, I met my friend Kristen for tea at Claridge’s (as one does). I wore a Zara blouse tied with a silk scarf, Teurn trousers, Bazilika coat, Dear Frances boots, and these amazing Completedworks earrings. I loved how my Ossa phone chain matched the pearl details on the wall. V satisfying indeed!
