Having suffered from ED for close to five decades I understand the myths and misconceptions surrounding this disorder. Back then there was nothing but confusion…a lack of insight, terminology and understanding. What is never revealed is the long term damage and the causation… and the sorrowful knowledge that is a lifelong battle.
